The Alliance for Wisconsin Theatre Education (AWTE)

The membership believes that the study of theatre should be central to the education of all students in Wisconsin, and access to the theatrical arts should be a part of every Wisconsin citizen's life.

The Alliance for Wisconsin Theatre Education is dedicated to promoting comprehensive theatre education in Wisconsin.

AWTE PROJECTS

The membership of the AWTE meets at an annual conference.  The 2009 Conference is hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College on Friday, September 25, 2009.

The organization is dedicated to

• supporting theatre educator pedagogy
• facilitating educator networking
  
• sharing support for educational theatre
• identifying and supporting future theatre educators
